Here’s Nhi driving me around Saigon in moderate traffic.  You basically just drive however you want unless police are around.  By that I mean you go the wrong way down one way streets, you go through red lights, up on the sidewalks or whatever.  It isn’t really dangerous because of how people drive here and people do it all the time because there are a lot of one way streets in vietnam.  You need a helmet & a raincoat when driving because it is very easy to get caught in a downpour if there are clouds.  I got some sun glasses too because crap can get in your eyes while driving, so you basically squint the whole time or… wear sun glasses!  man I’m a genius.  in the two pictures you can see how much water is in the street after a downpour.  there sometimes is ridiculous traffic here, but mostly it is not as bad as in the video and you go along at a good speed.
